"My Life In Theater" To Debut October 2014
Oceania Cruises' new "My Life In Theater" series will debut this fall onboard its acclaimed mid-sized ship, the Riviera.
Designed to appeal to lovers of the arts - and cruising, the series offers a collection of in-depth experiences with featured guest artists as a complement to the onboard cruise experience.
The series will launch later this fall as Broadway legend Andrea McArdle takes center stage on the Enchanting Riviera sailing, departing from Athens October 29, 2014.
Guests will sail to the Greek Isles, Kusadasi, Sicily, Amalfi, Rome, Florence and Provence before overnighting in Monte Carlo. Those who participate in the "My Life In Theater" series will be treated to almost daily events, including performances, stories and receptions with the guest artist onboard.
Andrea McArdle burst upon the Broadway stage in 1977 when, at the age of twelve, she created the iconic role of Little Orphan Annie in the massive hit musical Annie. Since then, she’s delighted New York audiences in Les Miserables, Starlight Express, Beauty and the Beast, and State Fair. In addition to thrilling fans on The Great White Way, Andrea continues to entertain with performances the world over including acclaimed regional performances, sold out concerts, hit recordings, and roles in film, and television.
Oceania Cruises 10-day Enchanting Riviera voyage will feature 8 events, including evenings of songs and stories, a private cocktail reception, a private rehearsal and preferred seating for her public concert onboard.
