Philip & Kimberly Mancini
Philip Mancini is Co-Proprietor of Michael's On East. Born and raised in North Providence, Rhode Island, Philip grew up working in restaurants and catering operations since the age of 13. He attended Johnson & Wales University where he received his Associates in Culinary Arts as well as a Bachelors in Food Service Management. After relocating to Sarasota, Phil participated in a management training program at the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort prior to joining Michael’s On East as a business partner shortly after the restaurant opened. Today, he manages every aspect of event food and beverage service for more than 1,500 events annually, executing each detail for functions from two to 2,000 guests. Over his 40 years in the catering industry, Phil has been credited with helping to launch and develop dozens of signature events for area nonprofits and the community at-large.
