Londolozi Game Reserve

Widely respected as South Africa's first eco-safari lodge, Londolozi treats guests to an authentic wild experience against the backdrop of a world-class Relais & Châteaux resort.  Breeding herds of elephant and buffalo roam throughout the Londolozi area, with high concentrations of white rhino and lion. But viewing Londolozi's famous wild, free ranging leopards is one of life’s truly treasured experiences.

Table Mountain

One of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, Table Mountain provides a magnificent backdrop to cosmopolitan Cape Town and is famous for the tablecloth of clouds that pours endlessly down its slopes. This is a mountain of many moods and offers walkers and hikers a range of routes that vary from light strolls to rigorous hikes. If it’s the view you’re after and not the exercise, catch a state-of-the-art revolving cable car to the top of the mountain.

Cape of Good Hope

"The Fairest Cape in all the World" as named by Sir Francis Drake, is one of the top tourist destinations in South Africa. Rich in cultural and natural heritage, the Cape of Good Hope is home to the Southwestern most point in Africa, various wildlife and unique flora and fauna. Also a haven for outdoor enthusiasts,  a wide variety of activities are on offer set against the spectacular backdrop of the mountains and coastline of the Cape Peninsula.


  1. Upon arrival into Cape Town (CPT) Airport you will be met and assisted with luggage for private road transfer to the One&Only Cape Town where you will spend the next 4 nights on a bed and breakfast in a Marina Tower Table Mountain Facing Room. (B)

  2. After breakfast this morning you will meet your guide in the lobby for a full day of privately guided Cape Peninsula touring inclusive of entrance fees, tolls and lunch with visits to Cape Point, the penguins of Boulders Beach and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. (B,L)

  3. This morning after breakfast you will meet your guide in the lobby for a full day touring Table Mountain and the Winelands with both entrance fees and tastings included. Upon completion of the tour you will be dropped off at the One&Only Cape Town with the duration of the evening at leisure. (B)

  4. With so much to see and do throughout the city, take advantage of a day at leisure to catch your breath, explore the hustle and bustle of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, visit Camps Bay, take a tour of Robben Island, go Great White Shark Cage diving or choose from a nearly endless list of other activities. (B)   

  5. Checkout this morning for private road transfer from the One&Only to Cape Town (CPT) Airport in coordination with your onward scheduled flight to Skukuza (SZK) Airport (flight not included).

    Upon arrival into Skukuza you will be met for game drive road transfer to Londolozi Private Game Reserve where you will spend the next 3 nights on a fully inclusive basis at Varty Camp in a Superior Chalet. (B,D)

    Londolozi Varty Camp
    Varty Camp is the heart of the Londolozi Private Game, recently voted the number #1 safari lodge on the entire continent of Africa by Conde Nast Traveler. The campfire has burned here for over 85 years at the symbolic soul of Londolozi.The décor echoes the same tones of the owner’s private homes and their continuing love affair with the earth. Varty Camp is the home of an African safari holiday. 

    All rooms have private swimming pools framed by timber decks that overlook the riverine bush. The living spaces are raised off the ground and shaded under a cathedral of trees. The camp has a pleasingly down-to-earth quality with an emphasis on family heritage and tradition.

  6. Day on safari! 

    Londolozi is one of the original pioneering Private Game Reserves of the ecotourism industry in South Africa and is an unashamedly family run, stand alone operation.

    The root of the word Londolozi is the Zulu word for protect and means “protector of all living things” – an ambitious conservation ethic that Londolozi embraces in its sensitivity to the natural world. The reserve is internationally recognised for its far-sighted and progressive management of land and wildlife rehabilitation as well as productive community involvement.


  7. Day on safari! 

    World renowned as one of Africa’s finest game lodges, Londolozi was the first game reserve in the world to be accorded Relais & Châteaux status, reinforcing its commitment to luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine and exceptional service. Londolozi is a private reserve situated on the Sand River in the heart of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park, a perfect launching pad for your photographic safari experiences.

  9. Camp Jabulani
    Camp Jabulani is a family-owned and managed private luxury safari lodge located within the private Kapama Game Reserve in Hoedspruit, South Africa. With a Relais & Chateaux accreditation, this camp is guaranteed to offer first class accommodation, cuisine, facilities and personalised service. But its most notable feature is the herd of African elephants which were rescued by the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. Visitors can experience the extraordinary impact of interacting personally with the mammoth animals on daily elephant rides (the only night safari in the world!), around the waterhole as they swim and play, and in the wild habitat surrounding their stables.
