Fare includes deluxe accommodation: 2 nights Country Club Lima Hotel, 3 nights Sol Y Luna in Cusco, 1 night Hotel El Mapi in Aguas Calientes, 1 night Hotel Monasterio in Cusco; meals and tours per itinerary; admission to sites indicated on tour descriptions; gratuities for guides, drivers and restaurants; transfers and porterage per itinerary.

Fare does not include international airfare, private transfers, optional Machu Picchu arrival by Inca Trail, entrance fees not referenced in itinerary, meals not indicated on itinerary, passport and visa fees, services of a personal nature including in-room dining, spa treatments and telephone charges, personal and travel insurance; airport and departure taxes and $25 per person booking fee.

Market to Table In Lima

Visit a local market where your guide will introduce their favorite vendors and facilitate discussion about seasonal and local ingredients, which will be used in this morning's class.  Enjoy a pisco sour and learn about essential techniques and ingredients for Ceviches and Limas local tapas. Then the feast begins, tasting the ceviches and tapas that you prepared. Enjoy lunch with a view of Lima's beautiful coast.

Peruvian Plots, Fields and Farms

Venture into the heart of the valley to visit  farms in the communities of Rumichaca and Palcaraqui.  Discover aromatic herbs, surprising grains, roots and colorful fruits.  Did you know there are over 38 different kinds of potatoes in Peru?

Explore the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.  A haven for outdoor adventurers, where you don’t need any experience to have a fantastic day out.  Enjoy a thrilling white water rafting adventure or bike from the Andean highlands down to the river below, cycling amid traditional communities where the way of life has changed very little since the Spanish arrived nearly 500 years ago.

Machu Picchu on the Inca Trail

The original Gateway into Machu Picchu when approaching the site along the the Inca Trail, Inti Punku is the first point where the ruins of Machu Picchu are visible. The views of the site and surrounding landscape are superb.  Your guide will initially walk you through this ancient site, with options to view the sunrise the next morning or take a moderate hike to experience an optional approach to Machu PIcchu.

Join your guide in the Plaza de Armas to visit the main sights in the city centre before sojourning to the outskirts to view important Inca ruins. You will visit the highlights such as the Main Square, the Cathedral, Koricancha or Sun Temple, the Inca Ruins of Sacsayhuaman and the bustling San Pedro market.

  6. Visit Machu Picchu [B,L]

    You and your guide will take the Vistadome train from Ollanta train station to Aguas Calientes train station. Then, you will catch a mini bus for the final 30 minute ride uphill to the site. These are shuttle buses that leave/arrive the site every half hour. Enjoy a 2-3 hour guided visit of Machu Picchu and then, a buffet lunch at Sanctuary Lodge. Later, take one of the shuttle buses back down to Aguas Calientes.

  7. Explore Machu Picchu [B,L,D]

    Today your entrance ticket to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and buses are included. If one day is simply not long enough at Machu Picchu, we offer a second day to be enjoyed with your guide.

    Choose from four excursions depending on your fitness level and how long you want to be outside.
