Malaka Hilton is recognized worldwide for her expertise as an Egypt Specialist and creator of exclusive Wow-factor escorted experiences throughout the world.

Ms. Hilton has been identified by Travel + Leisure magazine as a top travel consultant for Egypt every year since 2004; she earned similar distinction from National Geographic Traveler in 2004. Egypt is among her favorite places, and she visits at least a few times each year to remain abreast of the latest hotels, yachts, restaurants and tours. "I still learn something new every time I go.  There is still so much value for the money in Egypt, and I feel completely safe. Egyptians are warm and friendly and they love Americans."

Malaka grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and traveled extensively as a child with her Egyptian father and Yugoslav mother. She earned her BA in Hospitality from Florida State University and began with a local agency in 1994. Within three years, she developed a wide, loyal base of clients and was eager for the challenge of starting her own business. Thus, in 1997, Admiral Travel was born.  Later that year Malaka met her husband, Ryan, while on safari in Africa.  He moved to Sarasota and together they escorted their first group of 130 travelers that year on a wildly successful African safari.

Malaka's hard work and high standards have earned unprecedented distinction for such a young entrepreneur. In 1999, Admiral was invited to join Virtuoso.  Today, Malaka's savvy for business and passion for travel have elevated her to a level of prominence among her Virtuoso peers, distinguishing ATI among the best of the best.  ATI has won Virtuoso’s prestigious Chairman’s Award twice in recent years.  In addition to maintaining a portfolio of high-profile clients and guest tour escorts, Malaka also sits on the Advisory Board for Epicurean Travel for Bon Appetit Magazine and is serving on the Nomination Committee for Luxury Travel Advisor’s Awards of Excellence.
