Mike’s love of adventure and the outdoors has inspired amazing journeys in every corner of the world.  His more exotic conquests - Thailand, Singpore, Myanmar/Burma, Egypt, Jordan Botswana and South Africa as well as his most recent safari in Zimbabwe and gorilla track in Rwanda - are the result of his past four years with Admiral Travel.

This sporting enthusiast has been water- and snow-skiing everywhere and tried all manner of active pursuits, from wakeboarding in Nice to white water rafting and canyoning in Interlaken, parasailing in the Bahamas and hang gliding in Costa Rica. 

Although Mike is game for exploring the outdoors in faraway places, it's the simple pleasures that matter most to him. "Anywhere new where I can be outdoors during the day and kick back and relax at night with some old or new friends is when I’m happiest."

He was especially moved by his experiences in Burma in September of 2007 when the military brutally retaliated against students and Buddhist monks who had been peacefully protesting. “Nowhere outside of Africa had I been so moved by the culture and people of a region,” he says.  “The citizens of Burma certainly have a special place in my heart.”  

Although Mike’s specialty is focused on travel to Africa, he is a Virtuoso-certified consultant and Master Bellini Club Ambassador with Orient Express Hotels. 

Mike graduated from FSU in 2005 with two degrees: Business Management and Hospitality Administration, "Same as Malaka," he says parenthetically.  Mike was born in Massachusetts and grew up in Boca Raton, FL.
