A New-Englander with roots in the Midwest, Southwest Florida has been Jolene’s home for the better part of the last two decades.

Her love of outdoor pursuits was cultivated at an early age – hiking in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, clamming in Martha’s Vineyard and relaxing on the beach during summers at Cape Cod.  She recounts an exciting rescue off the coast of Massachusetts when the fog that was supposed to ‘blow over’ never did.  “Our GPS malfunctioned and we spent the better part of the day navigating away from the rocks until we were brought onboard a US Navy ship.” 

Today, Jolene’s water adventures are a bit less harrowing.  She enjoys boating with her family in the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and overlooking the sea from the balcony of her most recent pre-inaugural cruise aboard Celebrity’s new Solstice in 2009, which she describes as “a hip, cutting-edge” cruise line.  

Jolene manages the complex details of ATI’s escorted departures with precision and care, drawing from her professional background as a Case Manager for incapacitated individuals and children in foster care.  She draws a parallel between the level of diligence required in both positions, “At the end of the day, I’m most satisfied to know that our travelers are not only safe and that their needs are met, but that they are having the time of their lives.”

“I really feel for guests who are on the verge of embarking on what is sure to be a life-changing experience,” she says.  “It sounds silly, but I relate when they say they can’t sleep because they are so excited.”

Having known ATI Owners Malaka and Ryan Hilton for over 12 years, Jolene is eager to experience more of the Middle East and Mediterranean regions.  She is driven by her quest for knowledge and interest in other cultures.
