My mother once told me, 'Always make memories,'" recalls Michelle Andersen. And for over twenty-five years she’s been passionate about creating custom experiences her guests will remember always.
 
Michelle grew up in Chicago and spent her summers on the beaches of Lake Michigan. “There, she says, "I developed a love of the sun and sand and of being active in golf and tennis." Although she enjoyed winter sports and spent a great deal of time partaking in them, her real love has always been the water.
 
"I have traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Asia and the Middle East. I feel at home on any of the Hawaiian Islands indulging in the wonderful Aloha Spirit. I've stayed in a fabulous over-water bungalow in Bora Bora, watching the fish feed right before my eyes. Oh, and bare boat chartering in the crystal clear waters of the British Virgin Islands...THAT was fabulous."

The Emerald Isle is also a land dear to her heart. "The Irish are so warm and friendly." Although Michelle knows all the best properties and locations throughout Ireland, she encourages her clients to get the real scoop by tipping a pint with locals.
 
Michelle specializes in custom exclusive experiences that typically can only be arranged through private connections.  And Michelle has plenty of them.  She serves on the advisory board of ATI’s destination partner in Italy, IC Bellagio, and is recognized for her expertise by top travel companies, such as Orient Express and Abercrombie & Kent.

“If you really want to know what it means to be pampered,” she says, “Try chartering the legendary Christina O!”   In her leisure, she’s an avid boater. Active couples, especially those who golf and ski, will benefit greatly from her expertise in active experiences at home and abroad.

As Director of ATI’s Private Client Group, Michelle is dedicated to working with esteemed guests from Starwood’s St. Regis and Elite Vacation Network.  In this capacity, Michelle fulfills a wide range of requests from emergency dental exams to private villas and jets.  “My role is really quite simple,” she says.  “Travel is supposed to be fun.  I enjoy making dreams come true, and I love when my clients say I’ve exceeded their expectations.”
