Sir Winston Churchill loved the Mediterranean.  He came to its shores to relax, to think, to paint and to write.  In his twilight years he gained much comfort from his cruises on board the Christina. 

This is a unique opportunity to travel in his wake with Celia Sandys, his granddaughter, who accompanied him on a major cruise with Aristotle Onassis in 1959. 

The sailing will provide a chance to relax, enjoy the finest hospitality, and to take in some of the most beautiful and historic coastlines in the world.

There is no better way to follow in Churchill’s footsteps than onboard his favorite yacht.  He cruised these waters with Aristotle Onassis in old age feeding his interest in travel, beauty and history, but also reliving the events of one of his key wartime theatres. 

In the spriit of Sir Winston, this cruise will embrace some of the great sights of antiquity and some of the most beautiful European coastlines while also marking the military achievements that prepared the ground for D-Day.
