Singita Pamushana Lodge
The 6 villas of Pamushana, furnished with exotic works of art, are spacious to the extreme and strike the perfect balance between nature and the luxurious comforts of modern living.
Walls of sliding glass lead out from your suite onto your private teak game viewing and leisure deck with plunge pool and Swarovski telescope. Designed to fit unobtrusively into its surroundings, the lodge was one of the first in the ecology-sound, luxury lodge movement.
Built into the natural environment sandstone boulders protrude and are integral to the open-air bar and lounge, the swimming pool wraps itself around the hilltop and the leadwood trunks that support the dining room roof and rock fig trees that work their way through fissures in the stone bind the whole together. Massive, high ceilings, curvaceous earthy walls and myriad pillars, punctuating the open-plan rooms.
Other features of Pamushana are a gym, large swimming pool, comfortable lounge, library and dining room with the most amazing mural and fabulous food. Spa facilities include the garden jacuzzi, gymnasium, steam room, massage, aromatherapy and yoga room.
Best of all is the wine cellar, built to resemble the tower at great Zimbabwe and left to chill 7,000 bottles of wine!
Singita Lebombo Lodge
Singita Lebombo Lodge is located in a pristine concession in the world-famous Kruger National Park in South Africa. The remote location offers the gift of splendid isolation, yet with every luxury imaginable.
The main lodge at Singita Lebombo comprises 15 cliffside suites. Poised over one of Africa’s most dramatic landscapes, the design of the glass-walled suites was inspired by the nests of wild eagles that view the world from heightened perspectives.
The interior design of Singita Lebombo Lodge mixes cutting-edge contemporary styles with wide-open spaces and enormous blue African skies. Here, nature’s elements are intricately woven into the overall design to enhance the drama of the wild surroundings. Constructed of glass, slatted wood and bleached branches, Lebombo has been called an architectural masterpiece – so, it’s no wonder that Tatler UK magazine called this unique lodge "A cause for global celebration."
All suites have their own en suite bathroom and shower, outside shower, mini bar and fridge, room mini-safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, direct dial telephones and game-viewing decks. Hairdryers, insect spray, mosquito repellent and Citronella wipes are available in all the suites. Intenrational adapters and converters are available at reception.
